Yep, exactly. That ignorance can be overcome. Chris above posts a link to one of my favourites, Daryl Davis, who has demonstrated this more effectively than anybody else I'm aware of. But he doesn't overcome that ignorance …

But he doesn't overcome that ignorance by saying, "well, Mr. Klansman, were you aware that race is a social construct?"
